Racist AZ law drives non-citizen to shoot deputy

Massive search for suspects in the shooting of a Pinal Co. deputy

Pinal County Deputy Louie Puroll has been discharged from the hospital after being shot in the desert this afternoon. Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeau said Puroll was found after shootout with suspected drug smugglers. It took over an hour to locate Puroll….

Babeau also said, while searching for the suspects law enforcement helicopters were fired upon, but no one was injured.

Babeu says the deputy was doing smuggling interdiction work and found bags of marijuana in the desert. He then encountered five suspected illegal immigrants, two armed with rifles, and was shot.

“The fact that they were waiting and ambushed our deputy is very concerning. It points to the fact that what we have said for the past several months, is that, this has reached a critical mass for law enforcement, And we’ve been calling out to our leaders in the state and national level, we need help,” said Babeau.

You know if it weren’t for these evil immigration and resident alien laws our federal and state governments have in place, this would have NEVER happened.

Get well, Deputy Puroll.

I hope no one asked for their papers, that’s racist!!!

Federal agents say they have arrested 596 immigrants with criminal records during a three-day immigration enforcement sweep across the Southeast.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said Friday that the operation, dubbed Operation Cross Check, was the largest ever conducted by the agency targeting foreign nationals convicted of crimes. They said the immigrants have already served their sentences and authorities will now seek to deport them.

Atlanta ICE Field Director Felicia Skinner says that “communities around the Southeast are safer than they were before” as a result. She said three of the people arrested this week had been convicted of murder and 144 were convicted on assault charges.

Name a ship after John Murtha? Are you out of your mind?

Code Pink hearts Murtha

Only if we were naming target drones after this EX-Marine would naming anything military after John Murtha be something I could support.

Controversy flares over ship named for Murtha:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi praised the Navy’s decision to name an amphibious warship after Rep. John Murtha, but the formal announcement last Friday added fuel to an already smoldering backlash online.

Murtha — “our dear Jack,” as Pelosi referred to him — deserved the honor as a tireless advocate for troops generally and Marines in particular, she said, and she recalled admiring his rapport with them.

Well you are a vapid idiot Nancy Pelosi, so please forgive me for judging him on something that matters to us Marines and obviously not politicians such as yourself – honor, loyalty, and integrity. Three things John Murtha did not represent in all his years in the Congress.

The Navy was getting angry responses even on its own official website, where visitors used the same page where the announcement appeared to criticize it. Visitors called the decision to name a ship for Murtha “an absolute disgrace,” “inappropriate” and said it was just as bad as naming a warship for Benedict Arnold.

“The naming of LPD 26 after John Murtha is inappropriate,” wrote David Martin. “There many men and women with greater records of valor and service to the country who deserve the honor of having a warship named in their memory before John Murtha has a warship [named] in his honor. He made sure there was an airport named after himself. What more does there need to be?”

He turned his back on all Marines when he judged a group of them for something about which he knew none of the facts. You only need betray fellow Marines once in my opinion to surrender any claim for honor or glory.

Send Major League Baseball your thoughts

I don’t care what you have to say about the immigration law in Arizona.

But if you love baseball, you most likely want it to stay out of politics and believe the league should keep the All-Star game in Phoenix in 2011.

Please contact the league and encourage Bud Selig to resist the cries of those who would conflate sport with politics.

Here’s my message:

I would like to encourage MLB to stay out of the politics surrounding Arizona’s immigration laws and to keep the All-Star game in Phoenix.

MLB is an example of what America is and can be with people from around the world joining together to play a game we all love.

Show the world the good this sport, this league, and this country represent. Don’t get caught up in the passions of politics.

A sincere fan,

Harry Reid, still a loser

Election 2010: Nevada Senate – Rasmussen Reports™:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s support remains frozen again this month around 40%, while two of his chief Republican opponents continue to draw over 50% of the vote in Nevada’s U.S. Senate race.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Nevada shows Reid earning 39% to 41% support, depending on his opponent, well below the 50% safe mark for incumbents. His numbers are virtually identical to findings in the previous survey earlier this month and in line with surveys since last fall when his support began trending down.

Reid, who is seeking a fifth term in the Senate, received 61% of the vote in 2004.

Nearly half the voters in the state (47%) continue to have a very unfavorable view of the Democratic incumbent, while 23% view him very favorably.

How about that Religion of Peace?

The Jawa Report: ROPMA: Muslims Beat, Sodomizes Christian Barber Over Beard Trimming

“When Shakeel Cheema saw me shaving his younger brother’s beard, he became angry and started vandalizing mirrors, the sound system and chairs, and he desecrated a wooden cross perched on the top of the front mirrors,” Masih said. “He also started beating my head with his shoes.”

[...]

Masih said that he was blindfolded with a black cloth and taken to an unknown place where he was locked in a room. An hour later, Shakeel Cheema and seven others arrived and began striking him with clubs, breaking his ribs, a wrist and leg bones.

“Shakeel Cheema said, ‘Now we are going to teach you a real lesson for shaving the beard of a Muslim man,” Masih said, and after a long, pained pause he related how Cheema and the seven others sodomized him. “I started bleeding and fell unconscious.”

[...]

“We submitted an application to the Saddr police twice, but they took no action against Shakeel Cheema and his accomplices,” Laal Masih said. The family is appealing to Christian ministers and parliamentarians for assistance.

Still receiving threats of harm if they do not leave the area, family members also said they cannot afford the fees of a standard physician and have resorted to help from lesser trained doctors.

Police have refused to file a First Information Report against Cheema and his accomplices, who all remained at large at press time.

With people like this all over the world ready to burn, mutilate, kill, blow up, dismember, and sodomize you, it’s no wonder Islam is so popular with the kids.

Quote of the Day

“When one discards ideals, the fact that a given policy (such as government controls) is evil, does not constitute a reason for rejecting it. On the contrary, such an estimate serves as an incentive to adopt and expand that policy: to a cynic’s mind, that which is evil, is potent and practical.” – Ayn Rand

When you have no principles, everything is relative and nothing good or bad. This is the problem with our government and our society.

If there is one thing Harry Reid knows a lot about, it’s being un-American

via RealClearPolitics – Video

SEN. HARRY REID D-NV: “All of this talk from Republicans about wanting to do something about this bill before it gets on the floor is really anti-Senate and anti-American.”

Let’s see what a lying hypocrite this dirtbag, Harry Reid is by his remarks on the floor of the Senate, May 18, 2005:

Mr. President, the filibuster is a critical tool in keeping the majority in check. This central fact has been acknowledged and even praised by Senators from both parties….

Republicans have sought to destroy the balance of power in our government by grabbing power for the presidency, silencing the minority and weakening our democracy.

Enjoy retirement you pathetic piece of dog excrement.

Need another reason to support the state of Arizona?

Because some of its opponents are this f’ing stupid:

Opponents of Arizona’s new anti-immigrant law are calling for a boycott of the state’s products – including the popular Arizona Iced Tea.

The problem: Arizona Iced Tea is actually brewed in New York.

Online, misguided tea fans vowed to switch to Lipton or Snapple.

“Dear Arizona: If you don’t change your immigration policy, I will have to stop drinking your enjoyable brand of iced tea,” Twittered Jody Beth in Los Angeles.

“It is the drink of fascists,” wrote Travis Nichols in Chicago.

I bet they’ll claim they were kidding too…

Uh oh, REAL racism rears its ugly head

Can’t you just feel the post-racial HOPE® and CHANGE®

“Whose country is this, anyway?”

I’m not a big fan of Pat Buchanan’s but I fail to disagree with anything in this particular article:

What is the response of Barack Obama, who took an oath to see to it that federal laws are faithfully executed?

He is siding with the law-breakers. He is pandering to the ethnic lobbies. He is not berating a Mexican regime that aids and abets this invasion of the country of which he is commander in chief. Instead, he attacks the government of Arizona for trying to fill a gaping hole in law enforcement left by his own dereliction of duty.

He has denounced Arizona as “misguided.” He has called on the Justice Department to ensure that Arizona’s sheriffs and police do not violate anyone’s civil rights. But he has said nothing about the rights of the people of Arizona who must deal with the costs of having hundreds of thousands of lawbreakers in their midst.

[...]

Obama has done everything but his duty to enforce the law.

Then again finding a moment in his life when Barry has stood up for his country, embraced it, or put his life or career on the line to protect it is next to impossible. So we may be asking too much of the empty suit at 1600 Pennsylvania. It’s not like he’s pro-American in the same sense a huge majority of us are.

Al Sharpton threatens to go to Phoenix and march in the streets against the new Arizona law. Let him go.

Let us see how many African-Americans, who are today frozen out of the 8 million jobs held by illegal aliens that might otherwise go to them or their children, will march to defend an invasion for which they are themselves paying the heaviest price.

Last year, while Americans were losing a net of 5 million jobs, the U.S. government – Bush and Obama both – issued 1,131,000 green cards to legal immigrants to come and take the jobs that did open up, a flood of immigrants equaled in only four other years in our history.

What are we doing to our own people?

Whose country is this, anyway?

Now, if you think they’re scared of our cops, think again. This is what a real police state looks like.

Why are we surprised, he’s a Kennedy….

Their family name was built on behavior like this: Kennedy’s vodka-fueled bar trip

Rep. Patrick Kennedy was spotted doing vodka shots last week at a Capitol Hill bar just hours after he spoke about his history of substance abuse at a charity event.

An HOH tipster and a pal were sitting at the bar at the Capitol Lounge around 11 p.m. on Tuesday when the Rhode Island Democrat walked in and took a seat between the pair. The tipster’s friend asked the Congressman what he was drinking, and when Kennedy replied vodka, the group ordered vodka shots, the tipster tells us.

After slamming down the first round, another was ordered, then a third. Our tipster and his friend stopped doing shots, but Kennedy drank three more until the bartender cut him off, at least from obtaining any more shots, our tipster says.

But I though Dr. Utopia was some kind of law guy or something…

Looks like someone needs to take PoliSci 101 again, if he ever took it in the first place (no one knows what he took in college of course):

Asked about his plan for undocumented workers at a town hall this evening in Ottumwa, IA, President Obama referred to “this law that just passed in Arizona which I think is a poorly conceived law.”

The president said, “you can try to make it really tough on people who look like they, quote, unquote look like illegal immigrants. One of the things that the law says is that local officials are allow to ask somebody who they have a suspicion might be an illegal immigrant for their papers — but you can imagine if you are a Hispanic American in Arizona, your great, great grandparents may have been there before Arizona was even a state. But now suddenly if you don’t have your papers and you took your kid out to get ice cream, you’re going to be harassed, that’s something that could potentially happen.”

“That’s not the right way to go,” the president said to the crowd at Indian Hills Community College.

Hmmm, seems 60 year old federal law says otherwise, Mr. Lecturer-in-Chief:

Every alien, eighteen years of age and over, shall at all times carry with him and have in his personal possession any certificate of alien registration or alien registration receipt card issued to him pursuant to subsection (d) of this section.
