I sent the image above to some family and friends. The reaction I got from my father was as following and matched my sentiments exactly:

“It really made me sick the other day to see this idiot in an Air Force flight jacket!!” – an ‘old’ phantom driver.

I think anyone who has earned the right to wear the uniform is bothered seeing someone like our President wearing anything remotely military.
