John Hagee supports McCain and Hagee believes that Hurrican Katrina is god’s punishment for the existance of Gays.
Does that mean that McCain also has those feelings?
I never said that Obama had those feelings so to compare the two is not accurate.
To be clear, was it to Hamas, his wife, the Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, or someone else connected to Obama, you were comparing Hagee?
I just want to be sure I understand on what you have based your comment. If would like me to explain the context of the post I would be happy to do so. Just let me know.
I was trying to show that simply because a certain group supports a candidate it doesn’t reflect the views of that individual candidate. For some reason those in the media and some bloggers are equating support to actual policy views.
Why not just state clearly, “I do not think anyone should associate a candidate’s positions with those of their supporters?”, rather than bringing up Hagee?
