DPGI – the aftermath

Another failure of our educators to educate.

From my hometown paper the Reno Gazette-Journal: Hundreds of students march to protest immigration bills-Youths walk out of classes in Reno and Carson City

Jazmine Aguirre, 15, a student at Spanish Springs High School, called the proposition an "injustice to Latinos."

"It's unfair what Bush is doing," she said. "We're out here today to stop it. It's just not right."

Uh, note to Jazmine and her "educators", President Bush is not responsible for the legislation being debated and passed in Washington D.C. The legislation originated in the House of Representatives, you do know what branch of the government the House is do you not?

And it is the Senate, another part of the same branch of government to which the House of Representatives belongs, that is in the process of passing similar legislation.

President Bush is in favor of a softer approach to the problem of people who do not respect the laws of this country you ignorant child.

Your "educators" should be ashamed of what they have completely failed to teach you, if they taught you anything other than "Bush=bad" at all.

It is sad that these kids do not understand what they are protesting against.

Just so you know, Jazmine and friends, it is not Hispanics, Latinos, Chicanos nor any other "race" we do not want here. We do not want people who do not respect the laws of this country. America was built on ideals, not on the ignorance and the rejection of our rules.
